Early Access

The Luminary Cloud API and Python SDK are Early Access features that are still under development. View the Luminary Cloud Early Access Terms. The interface may change, and you may need to migrate or discard scripts and configuration files multiple times before v1.0.0 is released. In the future, migrations may also be necessary when upgrading to new major versions of the SDK (e.g. v2.0.0).

Release Notes

This release returns geometry check issues in a structured form and makes geometry modifications safe to retry.

Breaking Changes

• Geometry.check() returns (ok, list[GeometryCheckIssue]) instead of (ok, list[str]). Each GeometryCheckIssue carries the issue’s code, level, and structured details in place of a text message.

Deprecations

• Geometry.deprecated_check() returns the issues as text, as check() did before this release. It will be removed in a future release.

Bug Fixes / Improvements

• A geometry modification that is re-sent after its reply was lost no longer commits twice.

Migration Guide

Code that reads the issues returned by Geometry.check() as strings must switch to the fields of GeometryCheckIssue. To keep the old text output while migrating, call Geometry.deprecated_check() instead.
